Security and data protection
What we can send your COLP or DPO.
Your clients' data, handled on your instructions.
Roles
Your firm is the data controller. Immigrationist acts as a processor and handles personal data only on your documented instructions. A data processing agreement is available before you upload anything.
Where the data sits
All processing takes place in the European Union. A list of our sub-processors, what each one does and where it operates, is available on request and kept current.
Transfers from the UK
We enter into the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or the Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, and provide our transfer risk assessment.
Training
Client data is not used to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.
Security
Encryption in transit and at rest, access limited to named personnel who need it, logged access to matter files, and staff under written confidentiality obligations.
Retention
You decide how long matter data is kept. We delete or return it on request and at the end of the contract.
Incidents
We notify you without undue delay of any personal data breach affecting your matters, with the detail you need for your own reporting.
No tracking on this website
This website sets no cookies and carries no analytics, tracking pixels, advertising tags or chat widgets. There are no third-party embeds: our booking and survey links open in a new tab on the provider's own site. If we ever add anything that sets a cookie, we will publish a consent banner first.
